I had a fantastic experience with Inner City Moving. I would give them 6 stars if I could!I used this company to move out of my apartment, for storage of my things and to move into a new place once I had found an apartment (the rental market was quite competitive at the time).Setting up my move was very professional, Paul (The owner) and I had spoke prior to the move and set up a time. I received an email confirmation.Paul sent 3 movers and a cube van for my move. The movers were on time, professional, extremely quick, and really friendly. They wrapped all my furniture and brought a mattress cover for my bed.They took my things to a storage that Paul had set up for me. I went with them to see the unit, you don’t normally need to go but this was my first time using professional movers and I wanted to see the storage unit. The unit was just as Paul described and very easy to find. I had access to go in and out of the storage unit when I needed anything.I hired Innercity Moving for a second time to move my things again when I had found a place. Again they were on time, quick, and friendly. Paul even called during my move to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was happy.Absolutely everything was in perfect condition. I had quite a lot of breakables (large mirror, mirror cabinet, glassware, a crystal chandelier/lamp but they were all perfect. My mattress and couch were clean as well.I had constant communication with Inner City Moving (I may have called them too much), I was a actually quite worried because I have heard nightmare stories about other moving companies but this was definitely not one. I would highly, highly recommend using this company. There were no hidden costs, they didn’t take their time, and the prices are reasonable.Paul and his movers are amazing!! I will call you for my next move!

DO NOT USE THIS MOVER Paul was nice until there was a problem and then turned nasty. They were 2 hours late and did not provide services they advertised, e.g. floor runners, free mattress bag, quilted moving blankets.They will deny that they provide a free mattress bag but I have their email to prove what was offered at time of reservation.The mattress was partially wrapped and got dirty. Box spring not wrapped at all, got dirty. A television set was dropped and they refuse to provide claim forms or to acknowledge any responsibility for possible damages to the set.They also now are denying that they did not drop the television and are saying that the owners moved it themselves which is not true.

My brother in law was supposed to help us move but decided to change his mind last minute, leaving us to move our 2 bed apt in my Honda. I called inner city moving @2pm, they had a truck with crew at my home by 5pm within a few hours everything was unloaded. They even assembled our beds, these guys are awesome! Thank you so much inner city, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Took care of my move like never before, the quote was spot on, incredibly helpful, communication prior to move day was strasparient and straight forward. Updating my review from 1 star to 3 because the owner replaced my broken furniture. Moral of the story, ask about the insurance and pay for it. Don’t leave it to chance.I made an appointment with this company a month in advance to move my things on May 1st at 8am, they showed up 1 hour and 15 minutes late, I had the elevator in my building booked for 8am assuming they would be on time and they were not. Upon arrival to my new home, the movers damaged my new tv stand, chipping a piece of wood at the front of it. When I called Paul to let him know what happened, she said to me ‘You don’t have insurance so we would weigh the furniture and pay you 65 cents per pound, which was disappointing to hear.Paul is honestly the worst business man I have ever encountered. He basically called me a liar when I told him his guys damaged by tv stand by saying ‘I spoke to my guy and he said your furniture was not made properly and that’s why it’s broken’. They chipped the front of it, what does that have to do with the assembly. It was assembled properly, the worker was not handling my furniture with care and damaged it. He didn’t even apologize.

horrible movers. zero respect for your items or their value. stumbling over things. dropping them. throwing them about. completely rude and only in it for the money. no respect or value for the customer at all. would never use these guys again.

I recommended Inner City to a client who was having work done on their home that required all furniture to be removed, stored and re-delivered. Paul and his team were very professional. In the process of moving items a cabinet glass door was cracked. Paul took full accountability to have the glass, which was curved and bevelled, replaced, quickly. My client was delighted with the results and with Paul's professionalism. I would highly recommend Inner City for any move. Prices are competitive, service excellent plus they offer additional move insurance.

Paul and his team have been super helpful this year. I've had to move out all my stuff from a condo downtown to a storage unit, and then move out everything into my new place. No complaints at all, guys were professional and all my furniture and boxes came back in one piece. Highly recommend for DT Toronto.

When my wife and I had to undergo a logistically challenging move into a downtown Toronto condo building, we turned to hard-working Paul and his crew for help. He delivered exactly the service we needed: punctual, efficient, reasonably priced. He did such a great job that we called on him again when we moved out, and once again he delivered the excellent service we needed. Paul is not only friendly and willing to do what is necessary to make a move happen, he is practical and resourceful, with the ability to solve any of the little problems that might arise (like defrosting locks on moving containers). I highly, highly recommend Paul and Inner City Moving. Moving is stressful enough as it is, but Paul's skill and positive attitude offers peace of mind that everything will work out just fine.

I was very happy with my experience moving last week. The movers arrived on time, were very careful with my belongings and the price was fair. What really makes them shine was how they responded to the unfortunate damage caused to my floor lamp. It was several years old and on its last legs, but they still offered to fix it at no charge. When that wasn't possible, they without hesitation reimbursed me the price of the item. I would definitely recommend their services and hope to use them again in the future.

UNPROFESSIONAL **DO NOT USE**They showed up late, and arrived with less people than what they had quoted our job for. And then demanded more money (despite less people) to complete the job. Proceeded to disrespect the location, along with the property that was being moved, which incurred thousands of dollars in damages. When they were asked for their insurance, they denied that this specific job was insured (even though it was discussed prior to hiring them), they also denied causing the damage, despite multiple witnesses. When they were on site, they also stole from another business that was at the location.The owner, Paul, is a BULLY.

We had an office move to organize at the end of 2017. It wasn't a huge job, but and the firm we planned to use fell through with a few days to go. I called a few companies, but Paul at Inner City immediately impressed me with his straightforward approach and made himself and his crew available at very short notice.As soon as he and Jonah arrived, they were on top of what needed to be done and worked quickly, efficiently and felt like part of our 'team' right away.I would highly recommend Paul and his company - great attitude, very fair pricing, honest, hard-working and understanding of clients needs.

I'm torn writing this, as the gentlemen who physically did the work were outstanding. They were friendly, helpful, accommodating and incredibly fast. If they didn't work for this sham of a company, I'd give them a glowing review.Here it goes - The gentlemen showed up an hour late. We're completely understanding as we lived in the downtown core, and we know how crazy traffic can be. When they arrived, they told us they would start the clock at 10 a.m., as it was exactly 10 a.m. (though we had booked them for 9.) From that point, everything was perfect. They had us packed up, on the road to Scarborough and completely unloaded in less than 3 hours total. Perfect!Then came the invoice time. These lovely gentlemen called Paul, who I understand owns this company, and he told them to start charging at 9:30 a.m. The gentlemen informed them that they hadn't arrived until 10, and his response was "doesn't matter, they booked us at 9." After fighting back and forth, we reluctantly agreed to pay it - I still don't know why. Then there was a $25 charge for a wardrobe box that I had to give back in the end. That makes ZERO sense to me. But again, we agreed to pay it. Then, we added everything up, agreed to the ridiculous total that was no where near what we had originally agreed to and gave them our credit card number and signed off on the invoice.A couple days later, we looked at our credit card statement and this crooked, disgusting human being charged us $35 MORE than what we signed for on the invoice. When we called him to ask him about it, he said that there was a 2.5% fee for using a credit card. He continued to say "listen, listen it's only a couple bucks, it's not a big deal." And my boyfriend and I went back and forth speaking to him. When I was on the phone, he patronized me and told me that I was "a savvy woman" and should be able to figure it out.All I can say is that I will NEVER use the services of this crook ever again and have made sure that everyone I know around town knows of this backwards way of business. Disgusting.

Positive- arrived on time. Agreed to the $35.00 discount (should asked for more)I asked for because of the the stress they caused.Negative- They refused to use the sofa covers I provided to protect my white leather sofas, they only wrapped the parts that would touch the ground, as a result there was a dirty hand print on the sofa and one of them bled on it, from a scratch on his hand. Paul gauged a hole in my leather bed frame, fine accidents do happen. Paul said he would make it right and fix it but would need to take the piece. I moved Saturday, he said I may be able to get it back same day, if not Tuesday, he would call. He did not call, I called left a message, my call was not returned till the next day 3PM to say he can have someone deliver it at 4PM. I scrambled to do my errand earlier to be back in time, got held up, was 10mins late coming back, the person called said they were at my door and going to leave the piece. I asked him not to, he said ok, he'll wait. When I arrived it was left at my door. The repair was also very poorly done, the damage still very visible, just appeared to be glued together with black glue. When I called to book they said they accept credit card, but end of the move did not want to accept it because of credit card fees. I had to drive to the bank for cash as they followed me. These guys sound very nice on the phone but have extremely poor customer service skills. I DO NOT recommend their services.

With so many companies calling and sending emails i finally agreed to go with Inner City Moving, Paul was helpful on the phone and i could tell he had good insite on what he was doing, We had a good experience over all, Movers was friendly and really caring and respectful about our things, We had the feeling these guys truly wanted to help, even though the move took longer than originally quoited "understandably so" Money was never the main issue, they wanted us moved. I've moved a lot of times in my whole life Inner city moving is by far the best I have ever came across. I recommend them, they're respectful, caring, safe, and straight forward. This was the best move ever. These guys were just wonderful. They arrived on time and took very good care of my stuff. They were helpful, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The complete move took 4 hours but felt more like 2 hours. I recommend Inner City moving.

I was introduced to Inner City Moving & Storage through our daughter who has used their services professionally herself.Our most recent move last weekend is the fifth or sixth time we have used the company to move the contents of our secondary M-F commuter apartment in Toronto between residences.A great company which has always sent polite and professional movers to take care of our move, which were completed in a timely manner without any damage or issues.We just moved a number of items to a storage company since we are working from home in the country for the pandemic. We will be calling Paul to book those items coming out of storage in 2022 when we eventually return to in-office work and rent a new M-F apartment in Toronto.

Inner city movers where fantastic for my move. They were punctual, professional and extremely patient. I received a call to confirm my time and they showed up and they did an incredible job I will be using them again.

We used them on a job recently and they were completely unprofessional.Showed up late.One man short.Asked for more money because the job was too big and heavy even though it was SPECIFIED to be exactly what it was.Accosted my female employees.Damaged the items they were moving and when asked if the had insurance to cover was told. "Not insured, your problem"
