DO NOT USE THIS MOVER Paul was nice until there was a problem and then turned nasty. They were 2 hours late and did not provide services they advertised, e.g. floor runners, free mattress bag, quilted moving blankets.They will deny that they provide a free mattress bag but I have their email to prove what was offered at time of reservation.The mattress was partially wrapped and got dirty. Box spring not wrapped at all, got dirty. A television set was dropped and they refuse to provide claim forms or to acknowledge any responsibility for possible damages to the set.They also now are denying that they did not drop the television and are saying that the owners moved it themselves which is not true.

Moving is always a hassle but with Paul and Joe, it was as smooth and easy as it possibly could be. And yes, affordable too! They are jovial and extremely professional. Paul also offered to dismantle and assemble our large furniture at no additional cost! Would highly recommend!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Paul and his team at Innercity Moving. We have used Innercity Moving for two moves (our most recent being this past weekend) and we wouldn’t choose anyone else! From our first reach out, Paul was incredibly responsive and helped answer questions surrounding move logistics. We had to change our move date and Paul did not miss a beat, and was able to reschedule. Flash forward to the day of the move: We had two friendly gentleman arrive promptly at the time we had arranged (a bit early in fact so we could set up the elevators, it was awesome). They were very efficient and professional! We didn’t have to lift a finger. They brought moving supplies that we had forgotten to purchase in the chaos (blankets, wrapping paper, mattress cover, etc), and took it upon themselves to wrap all our valuable items including very large and expensive paintings. In addition, they helped us disassemble some large pieces of furniture we were unable to do ourselves. Moves are generally very stressful, and both times we’ve used Innercity Moving, it’s been a walk in the park. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Paul and Innercity Moving team!

The inner city moving team pack and move our things thoroughly. The movers were extremely considerate and understood our special needs. With the off load they reassembled and made sure everything was put back together with final placement. Great team. Highly Recommended.

Positive- arrived on time. Agreed to the $35.00 discount (should asked for more)I asked for because of the the stress they caused.Negative- They refused to use the sofa covers I provided to protect my white leather sofas, they only wrapped the parts that would touch the ground, as a result there was a dirty hand print on the sofa and one of them bled on it, from a scratch on his hand. Paul gauged a hole in my leather bed frame, fine accidents do happen. Paul said he would make it right and fix it but would need to take the piece. I moved Saturday, he said I may be able to get it back same day, if not Tuesday, he would call. He did not call, I called left a message, my call was not returned till the next day 3PM to say he can have someone deliver it at 4PM. I scrambled to do my errand earlier to be back in time, got held up, was 10mins late coming back, the person called said they were at my door and going to leave the piece. I asked him not to, he said ok, he'll wait. When I arrived it was left at my door. The repair was also very poorly done, the damage still very visible, just appeared to be glued together with black glue. When I called to book they said they accept credit card, but end of the move did not want to accept it because of credit card fees. I had to drive to the bank for cash as they followed me. These guys sound very nice on the phone but have extremely poor customer service skills. I DO NOT recommend their services.

I found the team from inner city movers reliable, efficient and friendly. I would gladly recommend them to my friends and family for a move.

Great service from some of the best people in the moving business. From the first call to the last hand shake. I am so pleased with the service Inner city movers provided to my family. They were honest and straight forward, They never sugar coated the work and cost involved. After coming to an agreement they came in and took charge of the move. Every thing was pack and move with out a single incident. Everything was perfect! The movers were polite, helpful and very good at what they do. I would and already have recommended Inner City Moving to others.Thanks for your hard work.

I'm torn writing this, as the gentlemen who physically did the work were outstanding. They were friendly, helpful, accommodating and incredibly fast. If they didn't work for this sham of a company, I'd give them a glowing review.Here it goes - The gentlemen showed up an hour late. We're completely understanding as we lived in the downtown core, and we know how crazy traffic can be. When they arrived, they told us they would start the clock at 10 a.m., as it was exactly 10 a.m. (though we had booked them for 9.) From that point, everything was perfect. They had us packed up, on the road to Scarborough and completely unloaded in less than 3 hours total. Perfect!Then came the invoice time. These lovely gentlemen called Paul, who I understand owns this company, and he told them to start charging at 9:30 a.m. The gentlemen informed them that they hadn't arrived until 10, and his response was "doesn't matter, they booked us at 9." After fighting back and forth, we reluctantly agreed to pay it - I still don't know why. Then there was a $25 charge for a wardrobe box that I had to give back in the end. That makes ZERO sense to me. But again, we agreed to pay it. Then, we added everything up, agreed to the ridiculous total that was no where near what we had originally agreed to and gave them our credit card number and signed off on the invoice.A couple days later, we looked at our credit card statement and this crooked, disgusting human being charged us $35 MORE than what we signed for on the invoice. When we called him to ask him about it, he said that there was a 2.5% fee for using a credit card. He continued to say "listen, listen it's only a couple bucks, it's not a big deal." And my boyfriend and I went back and forth speaking to him. When I was on the phone, he patronized me and told me that I was "a savvy woman" and should be able to figure it out.All I can say is that I will NEVER use the services of this crook ever again and have made sure that everyone I know around town knows of this backwards way of business. Disgusting.

This was the best move ever. These guys were just wonderful. They arrived on time and took very good care of my stuff. They were helpful, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The complete move took 4 hours but felt more like 2 hours. I recommend Inner City moving.

Wicked help on my move! The team hustled hard to help me move my stuff - climbing up flights of thin narrow stairs endlessly with heavy contents they worked hard to make sure I was taken care of. Would recommend Inner City to anyone looking for movers.

They helped transfer equipment and supplies from warehouse to warehouse. They arrived in good timing, we're careful and priorities most fragile/ expensive items and worked with a great attitude. Lowest cost I've found. Would use their service again.

Called them up to see if the could do a last minute move. The company I had originally booked bailed after showing up which left me to scramble. Within an hour they showed up. I was surprised with thier pace and coordination. My 1bedroom apartment was loaded and unloaded at my new place within two hours. Thanks inner city. You made my day.

I'm a return customer at Inner City Moving -- the first time was an amazing experience with the company providing professional, efficient, and punctual service. The quote was spot on and fair. Both times I have had to contact Inner City Moving while in a tight time crunch, and both times they have delivered with exceptional service. I definitely would not hesitate to go back to them again should I have to move, and if anyone asks, they will 100% be recommended!

Thank you Innercity Movers!!! Moving is always stressful but when you are sick, alone and having to move from a house to a considerably smaller place it is even more difficult when u consider having to sell some of your stuff as well as deciding what has to go into storage and what should be thrown out. The innercity guys were so understanding and helpful they worked with me in separating my stuff helped me find storage and disposal that was convenient and affordable all while ensuring I met my deadlines to be out of the house. I honestly could not have done it without you guys. You even got me a great price for my couch!!! Anyone looking for honest, hardworking, reliable movers, Innercity is the best choice. Hands Down the Best movers I have ever used!Extremely professional and incredibly thorough. They handled all of my personal belongings as if they were a first time delivery to my home by wrapping each piece including taking apart and reassembling them in my new home. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with the company. During our move, several furniture items were damaged, and when we brought this to the attention of the owner, we were told we should have purchased insurance, and there was no apology. Also, I was given the option to pay by e-transfer, and I told him very clearly that since I am with a smaller bank, it takes about 20 minutes to come through. I showed one of the movers, the owner's son, the confirmation of the e-transfer so he would know it was sent. The owner ended up texting me, and left me a voicemail in which he accused me of ripping him off, and said he was 5 minutes away from our place and would come there. It felt very threatening, and as a whole was an unpleasant experience.

My favourite movers! I've been using Inner City for years. They moved me again in May and it'd been 5 years since I last need them. Reliable as always. They show up on time, they hustle and they take care of my belongings. I recommend them to everyone. Inner City is a sure thing. Thanks Paul and team. You guys are great.

The attention and service were excellent and second to none, the team was super professional, thorough, very pleasant to deal with, and well-coordinated. I'm super happy that I used Inner-city movers. They showed up ahead of the anticipated schedule and delivered an impeccable service.There were no hiccups whatsoever. Before Innercity Moving Storage I had a VERY BAD experience with another moving company. Innercity Moving Storage has made me believe that there are honest people out there again. They were polite, fast, honest, reasonably priced and cared about my belongings. I highly recommend them for your moving needs. Two thumbs up here

When my wife and I had to undergo a logistically challenging move into a downtown Toronto condo building, we turned to hard-working Paul and his crew for help. He delivered exactly the service we needed: punctual, efficient, reasonably priced. He did such a great job that we called on him again when we moved out, and once again he delivered the excellent service we needed. Paul is not only friendly and willing to do what is necessary to make a move happen, he is practical and resourceful, with the ability to solve any of the little problems that might arise (like defrosting locks on moving containers). I highly, highly recommend Paul and Inner City Moving. Moving is stressful enough as it is, but Paul's skill and positive attitude offers peace of mind that everything will work out just fine.
