I had a fantastic experience with Inner City Moving. I would give them 6 stars if I could!I used this company to move out of my apartment, for storage of my things and to move into a new place once I had found an apartment (the rental market was quite competitive at the time).Setting up my move was very professional, Paul (The owner) and I had spoke prior to the move and set up a time. I received an email confirmation.Paul sent 3 movers and a cube van for my move. The movers were on time, professional, extremely quick, and really friendly. They wrapped all my furniture and brought a mattress cover for my bed.They took my things to a storage that Paul had set up for me. I went with them to see the unit, you don’t normally need to go but this was my first time using professional movers and I wanted to see the storage unit. The unit was just as Paul described and very easy to find. I had access to go in and out of the storage unit when I needed anything.I hired Innercity Moving for a second time to move my things again when I had found a place. Again they were on time, quick, and friendly. Paul even called during my move to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was happy.Absolutely everything was in perfect condition. I had quite a lot of breakables (large mirror, mirror cabinet, glassware, a crystal chandelier/lamp but they were all perfect. My mattress and couch were clean as well.I had constant communication with Inner City Moving (I may have called them too much), I was a actually quite worried because I have heard nightmare stories about other moving companies but this was definitely not one. I would highly, highly recommend using this company. There were no hidden costs, they didn’t take their time, and the prices are reasonable.Paul and his movers are amazing!! I will call you for my next move!

Moving is always stressful but when you are sick, alone and having to move from a house to a considerably smaller place it is even more difficult when u consider having to sell some of your stuff as well as deciding what has to go into storage and what should be thrown out. The innercity guys were so understanding and helpful they worked with me in separating my stuff helped me find storage and disposal that was convenient and affordable all while ensuring I met my deadlines to be out of the house. I honestly could not have done it without you guys. You even got me a great price for my couch!!! Anyone looking for honest, hardworking, reliable movers, Innercity is the best choice. I had a great experience with Inner City Moving! I bought my first home and was shocked to see how expensive moving is in the city. I went with them for the price since it is lower than most. I was pleasant surprised by the amazing the service. I expected less than what I got 😊

The inner city moving team pack and move our things thoroughly. The movers were extremely considerate and understood our special needs. With the off load they reassembled and made sure everything was put back together with final placement. Great team. Highly Recommended.

I was introduced to Inner City Moving & Storage through our daughter who has used their services professionally herself.
Our most recent move last weekend is the fifth or sixth time we have used the company to move the contents of our secondary M-F commuter apartment in Toronto between residences.
A great company which has always sent polite and professional movers to take care of our move, which were completed in a timely manner without any damage or issues.
We just moved a number of items to a storage company since we are working from home in the country for the pandemic. We will be calling Paul to book those items coming out of storage in 2022 when we eventually return to in-office work and rent a new M-F apartment in Toronto.

Fabulous, professional, friendly service that is competitively priced. Paul and George completed my move according to plan. They packed up all of my belongings the day before and then transported everything to my new place without incident. I strongly recommend them.

I was very happy with my experience moving last week. The movers arrived on time, were very careful with my belongings and the price was fair. What really makes them shine was how they responded to the unfortunate damage caused to my floor lamp. It was several years old and on its last legs, but they still offered to fix it at no charge. When that wasn't possible, they without hesitation reimbursed me the price of the item. I would definitely recommend their services and hope to use them again in the future.

Very professional workers. We have quite a few really heavy pieces and was worried about damage and them not being able to lift them, but they did! They had all the equipment needed and everything went really well. They set everything up where we wanted so we didn't have to rearrange anything too. Also very friendly. I recommend them 100%

My brother in law was supposed to help us move but decided to change his mind last minute, leaving us to move our 2 bed apt in my Honda. I called inner city moving @2pm, they had a truck with crew at my home by 5pm within a few hours everything was unloaded. They even assembled our beds, these guys are awesome! Paul and his team have been super helpful this year. I've had to move out all my stuff from a condo downtown to a storage unit, and then move out everything into my new place. No complaints at all, guys were professional and all my furniture and boxes came back in one piece. Highly recommend for DT Toronto.

Recommended by a friend, Intercity moving is a excellent and professional moving company. I highly recommend them. The mover was careful, fast and take good care of our belongings. They wrapped, padded and protected every last piece of my furniture. Better yet they got all the work done within the window of time we scheduled. I should also note that our apartment was on the 2nd floor. I recommend Innercity moving and would use then again.

Excellent and quick moving services. Very accommodating even upon drop-off in a 3-level home. Awesome crew and would definitely recommend or plan to use again.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVER Paul was nice until there was a problem and then turned nasty. They were 2 hours late and did not provide services they advertised, e.g. floor runners, free mattress bag, quilted moving blankets.They will deny that they provide a free mattress bag but I have their email to prove what was offered at time of reservation.The mattress was partially wrapped and got dirty. Box spring not wrapped at all, got dirty. A television set was dropped and they refuse to provide claim forms or to acknowledge any responsibility for possible damages to the set.They also now are denying that they did not drop the television and are saying that the owners moved it themselves which is not true.

We had an office move to organize at the end of 2017. It wasn't a huge job, but and the firm we planned to use fell through with a few days to go. I called a few companies, but Paul at Inner City immediately impressed me with his straightforward approach and made himself and his crew available at very short notice.As soon as he and Jonah arrived, they were on top of what needed to be done and worked quickly, efficiently and felt like part of our 'team' right away.I would highly recommend Paul and his company - great attitude, very fair pricing, honest, hard-working and understanding of clients needs.

Wicked help on my move! The team hustled hard to help me move my stuff - climbing up flights of thin narrow stairs endlessly with heavy contents they worked hard to make sure I was taken care of. Would recommend Inner City to anyone looking for movers.

This was the best move ever. These guys were just wonderful. They arrived on time and took very good care of my stuff. They were helpful, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The complete move took 4 hours but felt more like 2 hours. I recommend Inner City moving.

Great service from some of the best people in the moving business. From the first call to the last hand shake. I am so pleased with the service Inner city movers provided to my family. They were honest and straight forward, They never sugar coated the work and cost involved. After coming to an agreement they came in and took charge of the move. Every thing was pack and move with out a single incident. Everything was perfect! The movers were polite, helpful and very good at what they do. I'm torn writing this, as the gentlemen who physically did the work were outstanding. They were friendly, helpful, accommodating and incredibly fast. If they didn't work for this sham of a company, I'd give them a glowing review.Here it goes - The gentlemen showed up an hour late. We're completely understanding as we lived in the downtown core, and we know how crazy traffic can be. When they arrived, they told us they would start the clock at 10 a.m., as it was exactly 10 a.m. (though we had booked them for 9.) From that point, everything was perfect. They had us packed up, on the road to Scarborough and completely unloaded in less than 3 hours total. Perfect!Then came the invoice time. These lovely gentlemen called Paul, who I understand owns this company, and he told them to start charging at 9:30 a.m. The gentlemen informed them that they hadn't arrived until 10, and his response was "doesn't matter, they booked us at 9." After fighting back and forth, we reluctantly agreed to pay it - I still don't know why. Then there was a $25 charge for a wardrobe box that I had to give back in the end. That makes ZERO sense to me. But again, we agreed to pay it. Then, we added everything up, agreed to the ridiculous total that was no where near what we had originally agreed to and gave them our credit card number and signed off on the invoice.A couple days later, we looked at our credit card statement and this crooked, disgusting human being charged us $35 MORE than what we signed for on the invoice. When we called him to ask him about it, he said that there was a 2.5% fee for using a credit card. He continued to say "listen, listen it's only a couple bucks, it's not a big deal." And my boyfriend and I went back and forth speaking to him. When I was on the phone, he patronized me and told me that I was "a savvy woman" and should be able to figure it out.All I can say is that I will NEVER use the services of this crook ever again and have made sure that everyone I know around town knows of this backwards way of business. Disgusting.

DO NOT USE. Moved from a 2 bedroom condo. Showed up an hour late - this was an issue since the elevator was booked for 3 hours and another move was scheduled after. This was flagged before hand as a potential issue but still showed up late. Truck was too small - didn't fit all contents despite rather limited contents - moved from a 2 bedroom condo less than 1000 sq feet with no dining or kitchen table. Had called prior to move requesting sufficiently sized truck. Supposedly had moved a 3 bedroom home in the truck they sent - impossible as truck was sub 20 feet. Took them an hour to drive from condo to new location which was only 6km and move was on a Saturday so traffic was limited.

Called them up to see if the could do a last minute move. The company I had originally booked bailed after showing up which left me to scramble. Within an hour they showed up. I was surprised with thier pace and coordination. My 1bedroom apartment was loaded and unloaded at my new place within two hours. Thanks inner city. You made my day.

My favourite movers! I've been using Inner City for years. They moved me again in May and it'd been 5 years since I last need them. Reliable as always. They show up on time, they hustle and they take care of my belongings. I recommend them to everyone. Inner City is a sure thing. Thanks Paul and team. You guys are great.
