With so many companies calling and sending emails i finally agreed to go with Inner City Moving, Paul was helpful on the phone and i could tell he had good insite on what he was doing, We had a good experience over all, Movers was friendly and really caring and respectful about our things, We had the feeling these guys truly wanted to help, even though the move took longer than originally quoited "understandably so" Money was never the main issue, they wanted us moved. I've moved a lot of times in my whole life Inner city moving is by far the best I have ever came across. I recommend them, they're respectful, caring, safe, and straight forward. We used them on a job recently and they were completely unprofessional.Showed up late.One man short.Asked for more money because the job was too big and heavy even though it was SPECIFIED to be exactly what it was.Accosted my female employees.Damaged the items they were moving and when asked if the had insurance to cover was told. "Not insured, your problem"

The attention and service were excellent and second to none, the team was super professional, thorough, very pleasant to deal with, and well-coordinated. I'm super happy that I used Inner-city movers. They showed up ahead of the anticipated schedule and delivered an impeccable service.There were no hiccups whatsoever. My stuff was taken care of, not a single item was broken or scratched. Seriously, great service! I would use and recommend Inner-city movers any day and anytime, I couldn't be more satisfied.

Hands Down the Best movers I have ever used!Extremely professional and incredibly thorough. They handled all of my personal belongings as if they were a first time delivery to my home by wrapping each piece including taking apart and reassembling them in my new home. Highly recommend!

We used inner city moving to move our office. I was impressed with the work. I decided to use them for my personal move. They were just as good, maybe better.They took good care of our things. The people at Inner city move and storage move my son from a rented condo back in August of 2020. When scheduled to return his furniture and personal content, they never showed up. In calling them they had told me the content was misplaced and they would search and assured me they would do everything to find it. The first week went by an they gave me the excuse they personal contents and furniture were delivered in error to Vancouver, who they called but no reply. Week after week excuse after excuse and after the 3rd week just voicemail. The delivery was scheduled with them on Nov 20th for a delivery of Dec 2nd, no time in that timeline did I ever get a call. Now Jan14th 2021 no call backs nothing but voicemail. I would recommend looking else where for your next move!

Thank you Innercity Movers!!! Moving is always stressful but when you are sick, alone and having to move from a house to a considerably smaller place it is even more difficult when u consider having to sell some of your stuff as well as deciding what has to go into storage and what should be thrown out. The innercity guys were so understanding and helpful they worked with me in separating my stuff helped me find storage and disposal that was convenient and affordable all while ensuring I met my deadlines to be out of the house. I honestly could not have done it without you guys. You even got me a great price for my couch!!! Anyone looking for honest, hardworking, reliable movers, Innercity is the best choice. Movers with heart. Thanks again guys!!!

Positive- arrived on time. Agreed to the $35.00 discount (should asked for more)I asked for because of the the stress they caused.Negative- They refused to use the sofa covers I provided to protect my white leather sofas, they only wrapped the parts that would touch the ground, as a result there was a dirty hand print on the sofa and one of them bled on it, from a scratch on his hand. Paul gauged a hole in my leather bed frame, fine accidents do happen. Paul said he would make it right and fix it but would need to take the piece. I moved Saturday, he said I may be able to get it back same day, if not Tuesday, he would call. He did not call, I called left a message, my call was not returned till the next day 3PM to say he can have someone deliver it at 4PM. I scrambled to do my errand earlier to be back in time, got held up, was 10mins late coming back, the person called said they were at my door and going to leave the piece. I asked him not to, he said ok, he'll wait. When I arrived it was left at my door. The repair was also very poorly done, the damage still very visible, just appeared to be glued together with black glue. When I called to book they said they accept credit card, but end of the move did not want to accept it because of credit card fees. I had to drive to the bank for cash as they followed me. These guys sound very nice on the phone but have extremely poor customer service skills. I DO NOT recommend their services.

I had a great experience with Inner City Moving! I bought my first home and was shocked to see how expensive moving is in the city. I went with them for the price since it is lower than most. I was pleasant surprised by the amazing the service. I expected less than what I got 😊

DO NOT USE. Moved from a 2 bedroom condo. Showed up an hour late - this was an issue since the elevator was booked for 3 hours and another move was scheduled after. This was flagged before hand as a potential issue but still showed up late. Truck was too small - didn't fit all contents despite rather limited contents - moved from a 2 bedroom condo less than 1000 sq feet with no dining or kitchen table. Had called prior to move requesting sufficiently sized truck. Supposedly had moved a 3 bedroom home in the truck they sent - impossible as truck was sub 20 feet. Took them an hour to drive from condo to new location which was only 6km and move was on a Saturday so traffic was limited.

I did a move with Inner City Moving & Storage Company they charged me a very fair rate for a move. The movers who came to my house were very professional. I would definitely use them again!

horrible movers. zero respect for your items or their value. stumbling over things. dropping them. throwing them about. completely rude and only in it for the money. no respect or value for the customer at all. would never use these guys again.

I had a fantastic experience with Inner City Moving. I would give them 6 stars if I could!I used this company to move out of my apartment, for storage of my things and to move into a new place once I had found an apartment (the rental market was quite competitive at the time).Setting up my move was very professional, Paul (The owner) and I had spoke prior to the move and set up a time. I received an email confirmation.Paul sent 3 movers and a cube van for my move. The movers were on time, professional, extremely quick, and really friendly. They wrapped all my furniture and brought a mattress cover for my bed.They took my things to a storage that Paul had set up for me. I went with them to see the unit, you don’t normally need to go but this was my first time using professional movers and I wanted to see the storage unit. The unit was just as Paul described and very easy to find. I had access to go in and out of the storage unit when I needed anything.I hired Innercity Moving for a second time to move my things again when I had found a place. Again they were on time, quick, and friendly. Paul even called during my move to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was happy.Absolutely everything was in perfect condition. I had quite a lot of breakables (large mirror, mirror cabinet, glassware, a crystal chandelier/lamp but they were all perfect. My mattress and couch were clean as well.I had constant communication with Inner City Moving (I may have called them too much), I was a actually quite worried because I have heard nightmare stories about other moving companies but this was definitely not one. I would highly, highly recommend using this company. There were no hidden costs, they didn’t take their time, and the prices are reasonable.Paul and his movers are amazing!! I will call you for my next move!

Great team and took care to properly wrap valuables and antiques and properly stored for two weeks while my condo was being renovated. I recommend Paul and his team.

Wicked help on my move! The team hustled hard to help me move my stuff - climbing up flights of thin narrow stairs endlessly with heavy contents they worked hard to make sure I was taken care of. Would recommend Inner City to anyone looking for movers.

Nothing but good things to say about this company and their team. We host a HUGE conference every year and have recently been in need of movers for our conference supplies which includes a ton of boxes - more than the average move. We have worked with many vendors and movers in the past and I think we finally found our fit. Paul and his team are on time, professional, hard working and friendly. They made this stressful time a breeze and the stress of loading all of our supplies to the venue from the office and back from the venue back to the office was seamless. I recommend this company to anyone who is looking to traditionally move or is in need of business-related moving services.I can't say enough great things about them. Their payment process is easy and Paul has a customer-first approach. We will definitely be hiring them again!Best movers in the city, by far.

I was introduced to Inner City Moving & Storage through our daughter who has used their services professionally herself.
Our most recent move last weekend is the fifth or sixth time we have used the company to move the contents of our secondary M-F commuter apartment in Toronto between residences.
A great company which has always sent polite and professional movers to take care of our move, which were completed in a timely manner without any damage or issues.
We just moved a number of items to a storage company since we are working from home in the country for the pandemic. We will be calling Paul to book those items coming out of storage in 2022 when we eventually return to in-office work and rent a new M-F apartment in Toronto.

I'm torn writing this, as the gentlemen who physically did the work were outstanding. They were friendly, helpful, accommodating and incredibly fast. If they didn't work for this sham of a company, I'd give them a glowing review.Here it goes - The gentlemen showed up an hour late. We're completely understanding as we lived in the downtown core, and we know how crazy traffic can be. When they arrived, they told us they would start the clock at 10 a.m., as it was exactly 10 a.m. (though we had booked them for 9.) From that point, everything was perfect. They had us packed up, on the road to Scarborough and completely unloaded in less than 3 hours total. Perfect!Then came the invoice time. These lovely gentlemen called Paul, who I understand owns this company, and he told them to start charging at 9:30 a.m. The gentlemen informed them that they hadn't arrived until 10, and his response was "doesn't matter, they booked us at 9." After fighting back and forth, we reluctantly agreed to pay it - I still don't know why. Then there was a $25 charge for a wardrobe box that I had to give back in the end. That makes ZERO sense to me. But again, we agreed to pay it. Then, we added everything up, agreed to the ridiculous total that was no where near what we had originally agreed to and gave them our credit card number and signed off on the invoice.A couple days later, we looked at our credit card statement and this crooked, disgusting human being charged us $35 MORE than what we signed for on the invoice. When we called him to ask him about it, he said that there was a 2.5% fee for using a credit card. He continued to say "listen, listen it's only a couple bucks, it's not a big deal." And my boyfriend and I went back and forth speaking to him. When I was on the phone, he patronized me and told me that I was "a savvy woman" and should be able to figure it out.All I can say is that I will NEVER use the services of this crook ever again and have made sure that everyone I know around town knows of this backwards way of business. Disgusting.

They stored my 12 boxes of books very well.

Fabulous, professional, friendly service that is competitively priced. Paul and George completed my move according to plan. They packed up all of my belongings the day before and then transported everything to my new place without incident. I strongly recommend them.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Paul and his team at Innercity Moving. We have used Innercity Moving for two moves (our most recent being this past weekend) and we wouldn’t choose anyone else! From our first reach out, Paul was incredibly responsive and helped answer questions surrounding move logistics. We had to change our move date and Paul did not miss a beat, and was able to reschedule. Flash forward to the day of the move: We had two friendly gentleman arrive promptly at the time we had arranged (a bit early in fact so we could set up the elevators, it was awesome). They were very efficient and professional! We didn’t have to lift a finger. They brought moving supplies that we had forgotten to purchase in the chaos (blankets, wrapping paper, mattress cover, etc), and took it upon themselves to wrap all our valuable items including very large and expensive paintings. In addition, they helped us disassemble some large pieces of furniture we were unable to do ourselves. Moves are generally very stressful, and both times we’ve used Innercity Moving, it’s been a walk in the park. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Paul and Innercity Moving team!
