Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with the company. During our move, several furniture items were damaged, and when we brought this to the attention of the owner, we were told we should have purchased insurance, and there was no apology. Also, I was given the option to pay by e-transfer, and I told him very clearly that since I am with a smaller bank, it takes about 20 minutes to come through. I showed one of the movers, the owner's son, the confirmation of the e-transfer so he would know it was sent. The owner ended up texting me, and left me a voicemail in which he accused me of ripping him off, and said he was 5 minutes away from our place and would come there. It felt very threatening, and as a whole was an unpleasant experience.

Used Inner City Moving for work (moving our office) and we couldn't be more pleased. Everything from pricing, level of care, punctuality, professionalism was awesome. Paul is a true gentleman, going above and beyond to help and accommodate us. I was very happy with how well my move went. The teamwork was excellent, they guys were great and it went quickly. They also took good care of all my stuff and absolutely nothing was broken. The move was completely stress free. I will definitely hire them again.

My favourite movers! I've been using Inner City for years. They moved me again in May and it'd been 5 years since I last need them. Reliable as always. This was the best move ever. These guys were just wonderful. They arrived on time and took very good care of my stuff. They were helpful, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The complete move took 4 hours but felt more like 2 hours. I recommend Inner City moving.

Inner City Movers were wonderful and made moving easy. Paul communicated well so we knew what to expect. He had the right truck for the job and the move went quickly. Having moved condo by myself a few times in Toronto, I can say that using Inner City Movers for the first time was well worth it and I would 100% use them again!

Moving is always stressful but when you are sick, alone and having to move from a house to a considerably smaller place it is even more difficult when u consider having to sell some of your stuff as well as deciding what has to go into storage and what should be thrown out. The innercity guys were so understanding and helpful they worked with me in separating my stuff helped me find storage and disposal that was convenient and affordable all while ensuring I met my deadlines to be out of the house. I honestly could not have done it without you guys. You even got me a great price for my couch!!! Anyone looking for honest, hardworking, reliable movers, Innercity is the best choice. Great service from some of the best people in the moving business. From the first call to the last hand shake. I am so pleased with the service Inner city movers provided to my family. They were honest and straight forward, They never sugar coated the work and cost involved. After coming to an agreement they came in and took charge of the move. Every thing was pack and move with out a single incident. Everything was perfect! The movers were polite, helpful and very good at what they do. Phenomenal customer service, professional and efficient, overall great company!

My brother in law was supposed to help us move but decided to change his mind last minute, leaving us to move our 2 bed apt in my Honda. I called inner city moving @2pm, they had a truck with crew at my home by 5pm within a few hours everything was unloaded. They even assembled our beds, these guys are awesome! Truly happy with this company! I had a last minute move and I was very stressed about it but as soon as I got a hold of the boss Paul I knew I was in good hands. Paul was respectful and reasonable as well was his moving team they came on time worked none stop. One of his guys Andrew put furniture together for me and fixed 2 broken pieces of furniture that had been broken for months. Once again thank you amazing work!

I was introduced to Inner City Moving & Storage through our daughter who has used their services professionally herself.Our most recent move last weekend is the fifth or sixth time we have used the company to move the contents of our secondary M-F commuter apartment in Toronto between residences.A great company which has always sent polite and professional movers to take care of our move, which were completed in a timely manner without any damage or issues.We just moved a number of items to a storage company since we are working from home in the country for the pandemic. We will be calling Paul to book those items coming out of storage in 2022 when we eventually return to in-office work and rent a new M-F apartment in Toronto.

We had an office move to organize at the end of 2017. It wasn't a huge job, but and the firm we planned to use fell through with a few days to go. I called a few companies, but Paul at Inner City immediately impressed me with his straightforward approach and made himself and his crew available at very short notice.As soon as he and Jonah arrived, they were on top of what needed to be done and worked quickly, efficiently and felt like part of our 'team' right away.I would highly recommend Paul and his company - great attitude, very fair pricing, honest, hard-working and understanding of clients needs.

I recently used Inner City Moving recently this year and was not pleased with the company at all. They were 5 hours late on day of delivery and lost an item that was precious to me. Long story short, I called several times when inquiring about lost item and was told it was broken. This was relayed to me after one week. I asked for compensation and Paul said that he would look into it. I have not yet received any more calls from him. It seemed that Paul, the owner, was nonchalant about every aspect of the move. The movers were great, but I will never recommend this company to anyone and will never us them as movers.

I had a great experience with Inner City Moving! I bought my first home and was shocked to see how expensive moving is in the city. I went with them for the price since it is lower than most. I was pleasant surprised by the amazing the service. I expected less than what I got 😊

Paul and his team have been super helpful this year. I've had to move out all my stuff from a condo downtown to a storage unit, and then move out everything into my new place. No complaints at all, guys were professional and all my furniture and boxes came back in one piece. Highly recommend for DT Toronto.

THEY CANCELLED THE SAME DAY I WAS SUPPOSE TO MOVE!!!! If I could rate 0 stars I would. I called 15min after they were suppose to arrive, no answer. I called again and woke up the owner. It took him 20min to call his guys to see where they were- apparently they had f-d off to London- but he assured me he was going to get his truck and come with another guy. He said his ETA would be 40min. Over an hour later he calls to ask if he could reschedule because he has a flu and doesn't want to work in the rain. This guy is a joke. My lease is up and I cannot stay in my apartment another night. Had to scramble to find last minute movers. This was a horrific experience. Please do not trust these people!!!!

Positive- arrived on time. Agreed to the $35.00 discount (should asked for more)I asked for because of the the stress they caused.Negative- They refused to use the sofa covers I provided to protect my white leather sofas, they only wrapped the parts that would touch the ground, as a result there was a dirty hand print on the sofa and one of them bled on it, from a scratch on his hand. Paul gauged a hole in my leather bed frame, fine accidents do happen. Paul said he would make it right and fix it but would need to take the piece. I moved Saturday, he said I may be able to get it back same day, if not Tuesday, he would call. He did not call, I called left a message, my call was not returned till the next day 3PM to say he can have someone deliver it at 4PM. I scrambled to do my errand earlier to be back in time, got held up, was 10mins late coming back, the person called said they were at my door and going to leave the piece. I asked him not to, he said ok, he'll wait. When I arrived it was left at my door. The repair was also very poorly done, the damage still very visible, just appeared to be glued together with black glue. When I called to book they said they accept credit card, but end of the move did not want to accept it because of credit card fees. I had to drive to the bank for cash as they followed me. These guys sound very nice on the phone but have extremely poor customer service skills. I DO NOT recommend their services.

Paul and his team were very professional, and carful when storing my items I would recommend and definitely use their services again.
