Student moves are small, cheap and time-critical, and most moving companies quietly hate them. We do not. A single room from a U of T residence to an apartment in the Annex, or a Ryerson-area sublet to a place near York — it is a couple of hours, it needs to happen on the day the lease says, and it should not cost a month's rent.

Often, once you count fuel, insurance, the deposit and the fact that you and a friend are doing the stairs. Our minimum for a small load is usually two to three hours with a proper crew. That said, if you have very little and a friend with a pickup, we will tell you straight that renting is cheaper — we would rather be honest than book a job you did not need.
Those are the two busiest days in the entire Toronto rental calendar, so book early — three to four weeks out at minimum. We hold some capacity for short-notice student work but the lease-turnover days genuinely do fill, and we would rather you booked ahead than gambled on it.
